Private Reference, Not Custody Office

The service stores no official Harris County jail, sheriff, or court record. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, file a document, or speak for an agency. The responsible custodian remains the source for an official answer.

Pages point toward the Harris County Jail, HCSO, Court Services, the Clerk, the Georgia Department of Corrections, federal locators, and selected outside tools. Those destinations can change their records, terms, availability, and data practices without control or approval from Harris County Busted Mugshots.

Rules for Responsible Use

Use the service only in a lawful and respectful way. The following limits apply to the pages, forms, links, and search features:

• do not use the service to break a law or to help another person break one;
• do not stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate, or target another person;
• do not use the information for a decision or process prohibited by the FCRA section below;
• do not bypass access controls or try to enter an account, system, or data store without permission;
• do not run bots, scrapers, or bulk requests that strain the service or a linked provider; and
• do not interfere with another visitor's use or the normal operation of the pages.

FCRA and Consumer-Report Limits

Harris County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not create background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither the service nor its ad partners supplies them. Information from these pages or a connected tool must not be used for an FCRA-governed purpose, including:

• making a hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decision;
• tenant or housing screening or a housing decision;
• judging creditworthiness, setting credit terms, or setting insurance premiums;
• deciding licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program; or
• any other use regulated as a consumer-report purpose under the FCRA.

Limit on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harris County Busted Mugshots and the people or providers involved in operating it are not liable for losses, claims, or damages arising from access to, inability to access, or reliance on the service, its content, a search partner, or an outbound link. This limit includes direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, and similar damages, even if the possibility was known.

Your Indemnification Promise

You agree to defend and hold harmless Harris County Busted Mugshots, its owners, contractors, partners, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses that arise from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights. Reasonable legal fees and costs are included where the law permits.

Intellectual Property

Unless a separate owner is identified, the text, graphics, logo, layout, and code used by Harris County Busted Mugshots belong to the service or its content partners. You may read and share a normal page link for personal reference, but you may not copy, distribute, sell, modify, or republish protected material without written permission from the rights holder.

Changes Take Effect When Posted

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version becomes effective when posted on this page, unless the text gives a later date. Continued use after posting means that the updated terms govern future access.

Access May Be Revoked

Access to all or part of the service may be limited, suspended, or blocked at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. This includes conduct that strains a linked provider, violates these terms, threatens another person, or creates a security concern.

Georgia Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without treating its choice-of-law rules as a reason to apply another state's law. Any dispute must be filed in a court located within Georgia, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

Severability

If a court finds a provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected language will be narrowed or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose.
